I recently watched a very well done tutorial in Flash Animation and what caught my attention was the reference to "Tweening" as i don't see the term i any Anime tutorials i was wondering how does AS handle this feature?
The Flash tutorial was called "Sunset" and and of course dealt with the change from day to night. Here is the link to that tutorial:

'Tweening' is an abbreviation of 'in-betweening', a classical animation term. Animators would draw key poses in sequences, and assistants would draw up the various poses in between.

Different animation software handles this automatically (and semi-automatically), with different terms used in most packages. AS handles in-betweens in a variety of ways. You need to do the tutorials, under Help | Help...
