Hi all,
I was just wondering what resolution you guys use. After adding some scripts to the tool bar I found that my time-line was buried so low I could not see but one line. I had my resolution at 1024x768 and changed it to 1152x864 keeping aspect ratio and now I have plenty of time-line to see but now I can hardly read the text because they are so small. Is there any way to have more time line show with the lower resolution with out detaching the time-line?
P.S.
My screen is a 32 inch flat screen HD TV. set to 16:9.
Thanks,
Stephen

Have you tried to move the mouse to the gray bar labeled "Time Line" and drag it upwards?
I've got my 24" monitor set to 1920 x 1080

You can move and resize any palette and window in AS.

1024x768 is 4:3 why don't you try the native flat screen resolution? 32 inches is a big screen, what's the distance you have it from your eyes that you don't see the letters at 1152x864?

Thanks for the replies.
Ray, how can you read whats on the web with such high resolution? I tried 1920 x 1080 and I had to get right up to the TV to read any text that was on the web.
slowtiger, I can not seem to find a way to resize the tool or style palettes I can only detach and move them. But after going to a higher resolution I found that I have plenty of time line now with a 1152 x 864 instead of the 1024x768 I was using.
Genete, 1152 x 864 is actually a good solution for me. After looking at it for awhile I have adjusted to the slightly smaller text and images. Also, my chair was about 4 feet from the TV, I moved the chair up a tad.
Thanks
Stephen

I'm on a monitor not a TV so that may be part of it. Also I've always used the highest res so I can get more in the screen. Trust me working in 3D Max or Maya you'd want as much room as you can get to reduce scrolling through settings all day.

You could undock the tool palette. This allows you to resize the time line "up" to see more of it. The time line is "blocked" by the tool palette. Not a great solution I know because the floating tool palette is now in the way. It helps if you have two monitors.
