cut to scenes

Is it better to create separate workspaces for different scenes and then edit final products together or have all elements in one workspace. If the latter, how do you cut from one scene to another without a blurred one frame transition...i.e. how to make certain layers invisible and other visible instantly. Thanks!

This is a good question.

I find it best to have a master file for your toon/toons and then save it as something else and make the scene from that. I import files as i need them for each scene. This makes for a lot of files but you can make a system up that lets you locate and know what's in that file.

Sometimes i'll import up to ten dif. files into a new AS project just to make a 3 sec scene.

As to answer your Question, I think it's best to cut the project into scenes and then edit them together later.

For the invis/vis question; it should be instant.

The hardest part is going to be the sound when done this way tho.
