Actually I saw another video about gravity some days before april 1st and then I started to suspect something big is coming. You can check the video on the official anime studio facebook's group.

Er... I'm afraid I'm not following. :) Is this a hint that there will be gravity features in AS?

Well, gravity is among the least wanted features on my list.

Ok, here is the other video I saw

I think it is definetively a hint, more if it comes from Mike himself. I hope we could see soon how it works, I really love the colission detection of vectors and I have some ideas about using it with characters which would be like dynamic bones with stereoids.

I hope this is a new engine because I would go nuts trying to manually translate layers and manipulate bones in a animiation like this.

Yeah, I think it's because you are more in a traditional way to work. But some guys here (including me) like to experiment with AS features. If you think that gravity can only be used for balls and guys falling I think you are being too limited. It's a new tool and you can adapt the tool for your own needs, for new ideas probably Mike never thought (and actually that is what I love about AS, it's extremely flexible and never stop to surprise me).
Gravity never were on my list of features neither, but just because I never really thought how cool this could be, now, seeing this examples, I'm thinking about a lot of cool uses for my animations and that makes me very happy. I'm glad it is Mike (and not me or you) the guy who design this software.

I saw “Lost Marble” the name, fondly remembers. From moho v2 start. Identical forum, identical group person, but the present has traded the name. The work is very good, Mike.
