I have a quick question please. I don't mean to pry but could someone please tell me if the final character illustrations (eg. Cluckie) are done in AS or imported in from other programs. I was mainly interested in Greykids 'ingenious' way of drawing into AS.

Yep, all models were built in AS. Take a look at the making of Cluckie on the site there's some imagery of the models in there.
