Looks pretty good -- although I think you have overdone the lines on the forehead. What's it for?

Thanks a lot.... grady1017.
Yes, I am planning to animate him, yet need to improve the style of him. That is why I have posted here for the comments and the idea to improve the character style.

Already I have posted a BG for this project. Please have a look at this and give me ideas.

That's definitely a difficult character to animate. Have you tried to show him from different angles? He's got quite complicated volumes, and you will run into some problems when you have to decide which lines will be visible from which angle.

I'd recommend to do lots of sketches on paper first, before you even start to build the character in AS, because on paper it's much faster to change things and try different versions.

Overall the style is OK, although I can't decide yet wether this is going to be a good or a bad guy.

Is this based on Vincent Price?
I like the drawing style, but agree that it looks difficult to animate.

Thanks.... slowtiger and Blighty

I think, if his head will be modeled in 3d for the reference then, it will be easy to animate.
This is a Demo reel. The characters are an old man and some crows only. This story is about conflicting with some cunning crows and a cunning man.
