Now it works...computers, eh?
I have a lot of negative (but hopefully constructive) things to say. Are you sure you want to hear them?

a while back i did an animation to the song "revolution 9" by the Beatles. for those of you who don't know, the song makes about as much sense as president obama announcing he would like to become a ballerina (if that ever happened).
i think that i am still not out of that phase of animation were i have the urge to randomly edit a whole bunch of clips together. and my most recent music vid shows that.

I am not a really great animator. But by looking at your video I guess you've been using the program for only 3 or 4 months??? Don't worry Anime Studio is a hard program to use.... Keep up the work...
PS. If you want sebwproductions to be in a good image at YouTube, I suggest, make small animation with Anime Studio for one year then start uploading...
hope that didn't sound too harsh.... I tried to keep it constructive as possible.

You need to educate yourself in the following areas (sorry, but almost in everything, but I would say that everyone should always go forward):
- design basics (colors - not every color combination looks good, don't pickup colors randomly)
- character design (don't use standard characters for final work - this isn't professional; but you can use it for practice if you like)
- animation basics (there are very few cases when you need slow motions in your animations - usually only to show some dramatic scenes, don't move your character parts until shape distortion becomes ugly...)
- story - this is actually the most complex part - you need some story or idea even for music video,
there are a lot of people out there who mastered all these areas above - but good original story/idea - is very rare thing today
good luck!

thanks for your help, i started using anime studio 5 in april and updated to 6 in june. however i only recently started becoming serious about animation. for future music videos i am working more with plot and becoming less "abstract".
the last music video i made with anime studio 5 was "revolution 9" by the beatles (more john lennon) that song (if you can call it a song it's more like noise) is very abstract and i have not fully recovered from the effect of that "project"
anyway i am on my 3rd draft of a music video to daveday's cover of "love story" by taylor swift. i have created several figures for it and using a lot more original metrical.
