Cross dissolve between sub-layers in switch layer settings

Hi everybody...
While working with switch layers,
I was thinking about to add a cross dissolve option beside the sub-layer interpolation and so have more chances of a simple "cut" step for those layers that can't have equal number of points,such as really different vector layers or just bitmap layers, obiovsly both unelegible for smooth switch interpolation.
Transition time is determined by the temporal distance between keyframes..
