I like your drawing.
I think that the color for the coffee cup and hand should move with the lines for the coffee cup and hand.

I made sure that the color of the coffee cup and hand did not move...it added to the wierdness of the whole thing. To get people thinking, why didn´t the color of the hand and cup move...as in "I´m sorry Dave I´m afraid I can´t do that..."

Real subtle humor at work there......
