Quesstion: What is the difference between File > Import> Soundtrack and Animation > Select Soundtrack?

Are they both the same thing or does one serve a different purpose than the other? In what instance would one import it vs. select it or vice-versa?

They do the same thing. There are several ways to bring in different media elements into Moho - the Import menu just gathers them all together in one place. Another example: you can import a movie file by creating a new Image layer and selecting a movie file, but lots of people didn't realize Moho could do that, so we added an item in the Import menu.
