I are like of your drawed. Is the shading made of softened fills?

This is a "redmatter", a variation from the commonly known "greymatter", but frankly, the drawing is good!
Keep 'em coming!

"I
drew my brain", please.
BTW, did you take the original as reference? it looks very realistic!

Sorry if "drawed" caused cringing
Several layers for the shading, yes there's
softened fills, and soft edged shapes.
I was fiddling about too much with the shading
so printed the progress, blocked in the rest
by hand in pencil, scanned that and finished it.
The lines were drawn with wacom and pen tool.
I have to confess though that it's all traced from
google image reference
I found that breaking it up onto seperate shapes
for the "folds" gave me hard edges which I didn't like,
but blurring the whole layer slightly fixed that.
Masked around the edge to clean up overspray,
and one trick I learnt doing this pic was that
instead of agonising over the opac etc on each fill,
just block in the colour in layers and tweak opac
and blur on whole layer to tweak it.

Out here in Missouri people actually
EAT brains! Brain sandwiches can be
found in a few not -so-fine dining
establishments.
I was wondering if you wouldn't mind
letting us download your brain pic?
It would be fun to use as an
animation prop.

.......................

Hey mad, I thought it was time you got a madrobot brain.
So I made you one......
Don't worry you won't need a manual, it's very simple, made mostly of legos

.
It's a partially animated avatar, for your consideration, you funny bugger.
And keep the cracks up's coming.

If you want the anme file to do as is you want to, I will send it.

You have inspired me to change my ways and put forward some constructive criticism.. for a change.
Allthough the structures of the brain are essentially symetrical, the sub marginal convolution , hippocampal fissure and ascending frontal convolution are not ever lateral to the horizonal fissure of Sylvius.
I know this might sound a bit tough and pedantic, but you must face the bitter truth, take strength, and venture with both humility and pride towards the future.

Durand that is actually a drawing of my brain.
I'm trying not to take your comments personally,
until now I had thought my congenital defects
extended only as far as my chest and rear end.

What! You have genital defects too? Sorry.. I didn't realise. I did not ever intend to make fun of your absolutely hideous and disgusting physical defect. Please excuse me. I'm ashamed of myself.
