installing Fazek drawing tools question

Sorry for such a newbie question but I want to install Fazek's drawing scripts. It seems pretty obvious that the tool scripts go in the scripts/tools folder and the utility scripts go in the scripts/utility folder.
I was assuming that additional drawing tools would have been added to my toolbar but that doesn't seem to be the case. What have I done wrong? Do I need to add something else?
There's a Youtube video showing frame by frame animation with the new drawing tools clearly visable and I guess I'm trying to achieve the same functionality.
