Point Animation or FBF for particular task

Post by realsnake »

Which ones better for complete body turn, Point Animation or FBF

Heres another comparison.

Anime Studio Animation (rendered as .swf) 24/FPS

Flash animation 12/FPS

For a one man project, I wouldn't even consider any great amount of FBF. Even for stuff that would normally require FBF, I'd just switch between two different point motion layers that I've made to meet at the same view. IOW, copy one and add/remove points as needed for the next segment of the animation.

FBF is just too time consuming for me.

i agree! even if someone could animate easily yet the clean-up process is very time consuming for a single person, i've been practically experimenting it in AS, Flash and GIMP for past couple of days....
