Just thought I would take a moment to post some screenshots of my project... The feature is being compiled in After Effects, drawn in Illustrator, and most of the character animation is done in AS PRO.

I know there are no mouths... The audio has not been completed, so the lip-sync will be a final step.

That's some good-looking art. Did you say you drew the characters in Illustrator? How does the import into AS work out with vector based images, or are you rendering them as PNG files?

I can't say I'm a fan of the character designs but the backgrounds look INCREDIBLE!

I think I saw some animated moments of this some time ago.
It looks very effective. It looks like you've drawn the character with AS vectors and those tatts, are they png images stamped on top? Looks good.
The character body shapes and silhouettes look great, a real juxtaposition to the toony faces.
Do you think the characters should have slightly different skin tones, to each other?
It would be a shame to survive an apocalypse only to succumb to the perils of a nanoscopic gene pool.
The added danger is when you have people like Vern cloning themselves in their secret labs.
Thanks for showing the pics.

Looks great! That is an odd mix of cartoon style with realistic. It's visually appealing, and I remember liking your test shot of this earlier. I do think you'll need some strong character acting to pull it off though. Animation that matches the visual quality.

Thanks for the comments and criticism. The skin tone will be addressed with other characters, good idea by the way. As far as importation goes, I never got working results importing the .ai files, so yes, It's .png layers. As far as the first video I posted with the walking silhouettes a few months back, I have completely redone that scene twice already, each time getting better results with my character movements.
It is important to note that though I hope the feature will "look good", I am still very new to 2D animation... so it will most likely not be a great example of what can be achieved with AS PRO. Again, thanks for taking the time to comment, I'll post more work as I go.
