dilemma

have been trying new stuff (vectors) in ASP ver. 5.5
learning a lot. but seem to have drawn myself into a corner.
have made a character with many many vector layers, some switch layers as well as masking for shadows. (I like masking for shadows :-} )
well I was rotoscoping it so i didn't begin drawing him until frame 106. So what that means is, even if i turn on visibility he still won't show up until frame 106.
i believe its the color in the"style" palette that has been keyframed. However there is no keyframe in the timeline (that i can see) that operates color and alpha so I cant figure out how to correct for this mistake.
not only that but since i can't see him in frame zero, i also cannot add any bones to this poor fellow. he's boneless ... aaaah!
does anyone have any advice for me?
either on how to fix this problem OR how to avoid it in the future?
I suppose all characters must be drawn in frame zero or yourre screwed?
or is there a fix?
dying to know...
thank you
