When you make an Action it seems to be available only for the layer you make it for. For example, I made a Skeleton layer with bones for a whole character, and make a walk cycle action. Now I have a different character with another skeleton layer and I want to use the Action I made in that skeleton (the bones are the rigged the same). How can I use the Action from one layer in another layer? Is that possible at all?

Sorry, it's not possible to copy actions from one layer to another.

A workaround would be to create all your actions first, and instead of copying them to another layer, duplicate the bone layer. Put this duplicated bone layer into position and it will have the same actions as the original.

Thanks. That workround of copying the bone layer works, but it's not ideal. But it'll do for now.
