this was done for TV.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbK67-BYibc

took about 2 weeks (also doing other things in the middle), most of that in drawing the figures.

the sequence is made for September (literature month)...so this is supposed to evoke the classical literature of the island.

the faults i find so far is in the character movements (bit too stiff)

thanks to everyone who commented on my earlier work, your comments helped me a lot improve.

The movement of the characters is the main problem -- but most other things look pretty good! The walking movements need to be more naturalistic, and when the arms move, they don't show much ease-in or ease-out, which makes the movement look mechanical. Great looking animation though!

thanks jahnocli

i didnt use much ease in/out keyframes

but

if the movement is from frame 1 to 10
i create a key frame on frame 8 and drag it back to about frame 6
and the movement is ease out (but with more control)

i do this because with a short duration putting ease in /out keyframes is not noticeable

any suggestion on how to make the figures more flexible?

i hear making a figure that that
"picks up a Heavy box off the floor and puts it on a high ledge"
is a good exercise.
any more of these that you know?
