Okay, been a while since I posted anything. I was sort of disinclined to post this one since it's so different from my usual animation, but what the hell, I did use Anime Studio after all, and some of you might find it interesting.

If you've seen the extras on the "I Am Legend" DVD, you've probably seen their moving comic books. That's what the client wanted for this one.

They were great Shawn, thanks for sharing. Did the large piece take long?
If I could make one point (not to detract from the piece but more to keep in mind for the next one), some of the panning camera moves seemed a little too much, in my view, but I loved to see both ways you used AS you should be very pleased with the results.
Very impressive.

The comic one took about a month to complete. I think some of the extreme camera moves were due to the difference between the locked camera aspect ratio and the comic panels which all varied in height and width. This is why I did it in 4:3 instead of 16:9 this time, because some of the very tall skinny panels would have been far too extreme at a 16:9 aspect ratio, unless I allowed the edges of the panels to show. In discussing these issues with the client, we decided on this way.
