A useful FPS/BPM tool...

Hi,
I'm working on some motion graphics with after fx at the moment set to music, so i was looking for an easy tap tempo tool to work out the BPM of any track... which i found... but then i had to convert that to frames per beat working at a particular FPS and BPM - its a fairly simple calculation but I wrote to the creator of the tool i found and suggested he added those fields to his already useful tool

so here it is: http://www.all8.com/tools/fpb.htm
if you put on an audio track, and tap any key along to the beat, you will get an average BPM reading based on your taps... then based on your FPS it will tell you where a beat drops on your AS timeline (i.e. aprrox 96 bpm at 24fps = a beat every 15 frames, so you know your hit points fall at 15/30/45/60 etc)

Thanks to Rich Reel for his tool, and keen/swift update of it :)

That's great! I've saved that bookmark, I'm sure it'll be a life-saver one of these days.

Note: the tool can be used to get the number of frames for any length of time, not just for music.

Thanks for sharing.
