Looks pretty dang good to me! I'm glad Disney is doing another hand-drawn feature and I hope the film is successful so they'll continue to do so.
Thoughts?

Disney does this kind of stuff better than anyone. If they could just purge the saccharine out of their system, they could take a great leap forward... I love that 2D stuff; beats the hell out of CG, if it's top quality, IMO.

Yeah, I definitely agree. The animation, character design, and color design in this alone looks 100x better then Bolt , this years offering from Disney, which looks pretty "blah" design and color wise (especially when put beside the original Chris Sanders drawings).
I'm not saying Bolt will be bad, in fact, I think it'll probably be pretty good from the buzz I'm hearing about it, I just think Princess looks more appealing.

2D from Disney, Jawohl!
But what they should hire/shanghaiing are the writers from Pixar, he he he.
Then Disney will be reborn!
(Allright, Pixar can also do a workshop in story writing for the Disney guys, ... could really help)
...
By the way, it was good that the princess didn't give the frog a kiss on the lips.
If..., the frog would become very heavy by transforming into a human...
result: a big fat red spot on the ground, - ouch!

It sure looks promising.
Isn't Pixar's Lasseter the head of Disney animation department these days? I remember reading something like that but I haven't actually followed the topic.
In my opinion Disney hasn't been able to produce a good 2d animation in a long while and I believe that if Lasseter's pulling the strings we're going to see some great 2d animation films in near future.

Toooo cute, I think this one is for a very small demographic.
I think Disney's animation directors should take a good look at themselves, maybe watch Kung Fu Panda and get an attitude adjustment.
The style shown in the teaser there may have been OK in the 1940's but, I gotta say, as professional as it may be, it really turns my stomach YYEEEUUURK.
