Run AnimeStudio on 64-bit linux-systems.

Post by rylleman »

ASP do not run on 64 bit systems out of the box but fortunately it was a very easy thing to fix.
I've installed it on my brand new 64-bit Ubuntu studio 8.04 and it runs well.

1. Place your anime studio program folder somewhere convenient. (If you've had it installed in a previous 32-bit system you can just copy the folder from there).
2. Download and run "getlibs" http://www.boundlesssupremacy.com/Cappy ... bs-all.deb.
3. Run getlibs on your ASP-folder.

Code: Select all

sudo getlibs /usr/local/bin/AnimeStudioPro_5.6
(Change my path to your path...)
4. Done! Do some great animation.

(These sources explained quite easily how to do it; http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=601778 and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php? ... ht=getlibs.)
