Big timeline bug in 5.6

In 5.6, select a bone, switch, or particle layer. Set the timeline to show all of the animation channels. Now scroll down to the bottom. I can't scoll down enough to see the 'pan/tilt camera' channel. The only way I can see it is to expand the timeline window to almost cover my display!!
This appears to have something to do with the added 'layer ordering' channel. The only layer type that has this but doesn't seem to be effected is the 'group layer'.
Mike, please help. I'm assuming this is an easy fix, since group layers behave properly.

I never noticed before, but you're right. I can't see the timeline for either Roll Camera or Pan/Tilt Camera. I don't use the Roll or Pan/Tilt Camera tools, so I would never have noticed before you pointed it out.
Mac OS X 10.4.11.

Windows XP here.
Yeah, I went to delete a camera pan/tilt key and couldn't find it. For a minute I thought it was missing entirely. I was only finding the keys in the child layers. Had to make the timeline fullscreen.
I only noticed it when I was double checking how to get rid of noisy camera. I hope this one is an easy and quick fix.
Now that I'm thinking about it, it might be nice if the timeline had a maximize/restore capability. Like double clicking the work area window, but keep it on top instead of underneath.
Edit:OMG! Who's that behind me?! \/

The problem seems to simply be that adding the timeline for Layer Order (plus a blank space as a separator) pushed the last two timelines farther down the list. It should be a simple matter of expanding the maximum scroll height of the window by another two timeline height values.
A very strange bug, indeed. You'd think that would be automatic.

I'm running bug fixed Mac OS X Leopard version, and I don't see the bug. I did just like you said. Select all channels in the Timeline, select a switch layer, and scroll down. All channels visible and accounted for.

I guess Mike fixed it in that Mac patch. Hopefully that means the rest of us could see the fix soon as well.

I have the bug-fix version as well (if you mean the one that's supposed to fix the SWF export crashes), and I'm seeing it here. Bone and Particle Layers cut off only Pan/Tilt, whereas Switch layers cut off both Pan/Tilt and Roll Camera. Also, 3D and Note layers seem to have extra space after the Pan/Tilt timeline. Hmmm...

Well, I do see an effect. The extra space underneath the Pan/tilt camera is removed in group type layers other than bone layers. I guess I've been lucky to always have had that extra space there, while others presumably didn't have that space to begin with.

I think this is the same problem as when creating pop up windows with scripts or long lists of bones in the bone drop down menu. If the information is longer than the screen it just doesn't show up. If that's the case, I have a sad sinking feeling this might not be an easy fix.
I know why I never saw this bug before, there are a few items in the time line settings I don't turn on so there was always enough room to see all the layer channels.

Okay, it appears that this is a continuation of a bug in ASP 5.5.

Switch layers in 5.5 also cut off the pan/tilt channel, but it was the one layer type that did this. So it was easier to miss.

Group layers in 5.5 had that 'extra' space that Rasheed mentions below the last channel, so losing a scroll space didn't hide anything in 5.6.

As you can see here, bone layers in 5.5 had no extra space, so the addition of the order layers channel pushed the pan/tilt channel out of view.

Here is the 5.6 bone layer timeline, now missing the pan/tilt channel.

And finally, the original bug in 5.5 that only caused the pan/tilt channel of switch layers to be hidden, now causes both the roll and pan/tilt channels to be hidden in 5.6.
I hope this helps document the problem thoroughly enough that Mike will take note and look into fixing it. If it is not an easy fix, then I think a fair workaround fix would be to add maximize/restore functionality to the timeline panel.
This is REALLY annoying. I can't reach these channels unless I either remove some of the shown channels or cover my work area with the timeline window. I much prefer to keep all of the channels visible in the timeline, so I don't end up with keyframes I'm not aware of.

Could this be a problem with a widescreen display? I run ASP on a widescreen laptop.
Rasheed, what kind of display do you use? Maybe that's why you can see all of the channels.
Anyone else able to see all of the timeline channels??

I confirm the bug in a linux box and a 4:3 monitor.

Well I feel a little dumb. I kept thinking that maximize/restore for the timeline would work like the work area. Just double click the header. Turns out the other panels need to be right clicked.

Well this'll help until this bug is fixed. Now I'm busy playing musical windows.

I'm on an aluminum iMac, 20 inch, with a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 (16:10).
