Now I'm having the same problems with the forum. The search feature says it has crashed and I'm having trouble posting as well.

No problems here for me but I noticed yesterday a "glitch" when I was checking new messages (just a hiccup and then it went back to normal).
I'm still thinking this is a server error -- server might have changed PHP versions on them (boy do I hate server problems).

And it's possible to edit but no matter whether I post or edit I always get the "search error" complaining about all the words in the post.

Note when these dupes are posted I get an error -- however they still post properly.

Hmmm, problems for me posting today as well. So perhaps the forum software is at fault (with my forums I need to run periodic maintenance -- anyone know if anyone is still at home here to work on this stuff?)

Reminds me of that joke about the man that threw himself off the top of a skyscraper. As he passed each window on the way down, he said "OK so far..."

What did this remind you of again (I didn't get it the third time...)

For the benefit of those playing along at home, it appears you *can* post okay even if you get the error. Just pay no attention to it (but above all, as both jahnocli and I found out, do not try to post again just because it looked like it didn't take the first time).
To repeat -- press submit, ignore the error and go about business as usual.

Oh, and just because I can't stand it...
The actual joke is this. A man believes he can fly. "All I need to do" he tells his friend, "is get a high enough start at it." So he jumps off the top of the Empire state building and as he passes the 30th floor his friend asks him how it's going. "Okay so far" is his response.
(It's a lot funnier when you know the joke and not just the punchline).

And you can search with Google. Just add "site:lostmarble.com/forum" at the end of your search phrase.
