... Having some visual change on the timeline could help spot it on time. The mentioned relative keyframes and actions already have it. ...
If you only knew the number of times that I have forgotten to disable Relative Keyframes - even with the red timeline showing. I probably need some kind of annoying repeating audio warning ... to make me change my behaviour.

I have to admit, the new red timeline for Relative Keyframes really helps me!
Frame zero has the red outline, but maybe it's too subtle? I don't really have a problem knowing when I'm off-zero, but I'm not sure I really notice the red outline when I'm working. (Maybe I pick up on it subconsciously?)
It does bug me a little that the red outline looks fuzzy, like it's a low-AA graphic. It would be better if it were crisper and a touch thicker.
I don't think the entire timeline should change color for frame 0. That could get annoying when I'm repeatedly using Toggle Frame 0 very late at night, bleary-eyed.
The one I
never got over was unintentionally RMB-dragging over the timeline and offsetting it. I messed up many animations because of this. Thank goodness, it was changed to Shift+RMB drag...yay!

We moved out of town when I was 4. Several years later, my parents came back to visit some friends, and here we are, walking through the old neighbourhood.
There's a sidewalk and the park on the right, divided by small shrubs. All of a sudden, I'm riding a slalom through shrubs when I see my parents staring at me.
- What was that?
- What?
- That "slalom"?
- Idk, nothing in particular. Why?
- That's the exact spot and the same "slalom" you were doing several years ago.
Don't know how else to put it, Sam - we're cooked x)
