I do agree that the build log should be updated in the installer and the updated log should be posted here in this thread since it didn't exist in the original installer. Hopefully we'll get some info about this soon.

But to assume development is dead based on lack of forum activity since last Wednesday is a bit of a stretch. Just sayin'

Sorry for the silence but I was away at a trade show. This update was focused on fixing critical bugs/crashes as shown below.

Fixes in Anime Studio® Debut/Pro 10.1.3 Update

Corrected User Content Library problems that affected Mac OS X 10.9, 10.10 and Windows.
Fixed crash when adding key frames.
Fixed other minor issues.

As a reminder, you should get an automatic reminder for updates when you start your application. If you don't for some reason, it is available on the website here: http://my.smithmicro.com/anime-pro-updates.html.

In the future I'll be sure to share the readme text when I post about updates so that you all know what has changed. Sorry for the confusion.

Also, I saw in the thread that someone said they haven't heard much from the Smith Micro team lately, well that's because they've had their heads down working on the next version. Don't worry, everyone is still here.

Good to be reassured. I spent countless hours learning this software to have to switch now. Plus it has the potential to blow away all competition and we're ruling for you any chance we get. Keep it up

By the way, I'm not sure what you fixed with the library on Mac but it bugs ever since that new update.

one time out of two, it won't show the "my props" folder and i have to restart the program when closing and reopening the library doesn't work (but it sometimes does)

While it seems like this may almost be a moot point with the next version apparently right around the corner, I was wondering what people's reactions to 10.1.3 are. Is it worth updating to it? Did it actually fix problems? Did it create any new ones? This is the only thread I've seen about 10.1.3, and there really hasn't been much discussion about it, so I'm just wondering if I should bother with it. Thanks for any and all comments.

It didn't hurt to install it.

No new features, mainly bug fixes. Not the dynamics fix I was hoping for but it's free and, IMO, worth applying if you want to avoid the bugs it does fix.
