I'm using this technique a long time ago and this really works because I'm obssesed in use the FEW number of points/bones in my designs... only a problem/limitation for me is that if you use the Line Width tool in any point all the outlines take the same width and only the top shape is vissible :( ...I'd love that the width tool works in consonace of the width of the shape for that you can get results like this:

Oh, I think I understand. A set of points can have more than one outline and fill. I didn't know that.

Yeah. It can be useful. For instance you can have two different outlines. And thus you can have one side of a sphere with a brush as an outline, the other as a solid variable width line. Brings up some interesting effects options.

Or you can just create strange animations, like this SWF, which isn't even weird.
