Multiple Voices

When there are two or more voices in the clips as in Tutorial 2, every time I wanted to here the second part of what the Ross person says, I had to play the entire sound clip for that person - I couldn´t just start it at the last part.

Is there a way to only listen to just segments of the sound (other than scrubbing - which always sounds like gibberish on my computer)?

Yes - just double-click on a phrase or a word where it appears in the waveform view to play back just that phrase or word. (This applies whether you have multiple voices or just one.)
