It seems like every few weeks, Moho 14 needs to be reactivated which gets to be rather annoying. Tonight, I can't even reactivate it because the activation server appears to be down. On the upside, I have seven days to reactivate but, still, it's a bit concerning. I just spent two weeks where Internet access was unreliable and mostly unavailable. Had this happened before that, I'd have had a week where I couldn't use software I paid for.
Why can't Moho just be activated once and then not have to worry about it until you need to deactivate to install on a different machine?

Re: How Often Does Moho Need to Be Reactivated?
Hi,
That's strange behavior. I've never had to reactivate Moho, and I've been using it regularly since version 9.5. However, I'm rarely without internet access for long periods, so maybe I just never encountered it.
If you're offline for long periods, you can try offline activation. There's more info about it here: https://lostmarble.com/support/

Hope this helps. If you are installing Moho on a computer that does not have an internet connection, you will need to use offline/manual activation...

Re: How Often Does Moho Need to Be Reactivated?
I always have the reactivate issues when my PC crushed. Some crushes were okay, I didn't need to reactivate it, but some crushes related to suddent lost of electricity, may cause me to reinstall due to program error, reactivate, or file broken. I recently experienced the most annoying, really annoying issue, when I use Alt+right click (If a file has issue with Alt+right click, the Ctrl+Alt+right click would have the same issue) to auto select a layer, as most of the time (*1: for bigger and messy files, file that has PSD, PNG from may other folders), the program suddently unresponded and crushed. I opened the file again, it asked for autosave file. The autosave file look great. It had all the recent changes I had, but I didn't noticed that it erased all my animation key, and I meant all (those keys were made even before the current changes that I the autosave had). I didn't noticed that, so I saved it replacing my original files. Before I noticed that the file lost the all the keyframes, my original file had already gone. So annoying!!! So I needed to remake the 56 seconds of animation again. The scene is hard and needed many animation!
*1: For my animation process, I work as indie animator. So I can't depends on files in one folder. I, most of the time, have the pre-made meterials, props, and other images and psd in other near by folders, so that I can reuse them as quickly as I can withotu the need to redraw or recreate them. I only have my main PSD like new characters, new scenes, new audio, and other news elements of animation in new project folder. So it seems messy, but it the way to save time.

Re: How Often Does Moho Need to Be Reactivated?
I have a habit of making a lot of incremental changes when working on any type of project in any program, and Moho is no exception. Basically, whenever I make a significant change or spend enough time that I don't wish to lose (about 15 minutes), I save a copy with a new version number (i.e., v001, v002, etc.) If it's important to know what was done in the file, I'll add a one- or two-word phrase to the end of the filename.
I've been doing this long enough that I know no device or system is infallible, so I make many incremental copies of a project. Oh, and also back up the job on a separate device! Once the job is done and out the door, I'll decide if there's a need to keep the old versions.
If you have trouble remembering to save a new version while working, there are at least two Moho scripts available that will do this for you automatically.
