keyboard shortcut for adding a new keyframe?

Post by tinytaboo »

Is there a keyboard shortcut for adding a new keyframe?

I understand that Cmd = "F" will add a freeze keyframe to all, but, is there a keyboard shortcut to say add only a keyframe for position?
thanks

Normally, Moho will create a keyframe for only the item you click on or otherwise transform. I use Freeze Pose (Ctrl-F) only when I want to hold the entire frame.

To keyframe selected items only, I use Freeze Selected. For me, the shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+Q, but I think I had to define this shortcut myself in the Edit Keyboard Shortcuts window.

Alternatively, you can use my MQC button panel. The Freez Sel button sends the shortcut above. This is quicker for me when I'm working with a stylus, but I often use this panel with a mouse too.

Tip: use the same shortcut for both Freeze Selected Bones and Freeze Selected Points. Since these are separate items, sharing the shortcut will not conflict. You will also want to disable Enable Audio Feedback. Otherwise, Moho will beep at you every time you use this combo.
