Copy frames to another layer?

Post by Macy »

Is it possible to copy a series of frames from one layer to another? So that another new object might follow the exact same path. I want to replace one object with another more improved version, and it'd be nice to not have to reanimate it.

Sorry, but you can't copy keyframes between layers. Maybe you could select all of the new object's points and copy/paste that into the old layer. If the old layer has layer motion applies, then anything you paste into that layer will move the same.

Ouch. I was just wondering why I couldn't copy/paste my motion from one bone to another. . .

That would be real handy.
