simple question about workspace

Post by saydaysago »

Hi everyone! Simple question here but I just can't seem to figure it out. I accidentally removed the layers panel from where it was fixed on the side of my workspace, and when I try to reopen it using the 'window' drop down menu, it shows up as a moveable window, rather than fixed to the side of my screen where I want it. In photoshop and many other applications, if you hover the window over the area where you want to fix it, it snaps into place, but this doesn't seem to be working in anime studio, and I can't seem to figure out how to accomplish this.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't quite understand InfoCentral's post but anyway.....you just go to the top menu and click Window / Layers and it will return to where it should be :D

make sure you have the floating layer window in view then go to Windows (in the AS menu bar) and click on the "Layers" line (which should have a checkmark beside it).

edit: [oops! cross post! Sorry Dale]

Haha, don't worry, your answer was better and more detailed than mine anyway :D

Thanks! So simple, but I guess I just hadn't stumbled into that yet.
