Patches

Post by Dust »

I am happily working on Anime Pro 7. I purchased the anime Debut 8 when it was still on sale, just to see what it was like. Ha, the thing I was hoping for, patches, are not in debut. I have been spending a good part of my sunday yesterday seeing if I could somehow find a way to make manual patches for anime pro 7, as it really does help with things like arm movement. I came up with a few interesting tries, but nothing really "wow"
It probably is not possible but then again, I thought, you never know. Lets ask the pro's. Thus my question: Are there ways (out of the box possibly) i can use to smooth up movements between layers in Anime 7, without having to spend a lot of time tweaking?
Thanks for your time

Thanks Gcharb. I appreciate you taking the time to help me further.
Thanks. However when I went to the link it gave me a textfile about how to do this, which should solve the problem for most people, but not for me as I am an obvious newcomer. Could you shed any light on this, that is if you have the time??

Text file, from mediafire?

That file is an actual anime studio file, which are text files really!

OK That sounds fair enough.
Nevertheless, do I import that in Anime Studio? How do I read this?
Thanks

you just open it in anime studio, it may not work if the file is pro and you only have debut though!

Thanks. I have pro, so it should work.
I am a bit puzzled on how to open it in Anime Studio though. I tried to use import, but it does not seem activated??

Have a look at the file name. Does it end with .anme? Then it should open without trouble. Does it end with .txt or .anme.txt? Change that extension to .anme. Does it end with .zip or .rar? That's a compressed archive, needs to get opened first.

Thanks Slowtiger. That did the trick, and thank you Gcharb for leading me to the right place.
