EPS import

Post by sbtamu »

I decided to try and import some of my hand drawn images as vector in to AS 7 pro. I downloaded Inkscape and managed to get results that looks good enough to 'save as.' When I save it as EPS and try an import it to AS I can see the upload bar but It does not create the new layer with the vectors.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Stephen

Trace the image in Inkscape, save as svg. Use Uniconvertor to convert the svg file to ai. Import the ai into AS. This worked when I tried it, but you may have to fix the color of the shapes.

Here's the download for Uniconvertor (Windows/Linux):

Thanks neeters_guy, I will try that when I get home later today. There is no color, its black ink on typing paper.
