Hi,
Upon starting AS Pro 7 and/or opening the LIBRARY from the top right button, I get the following warning:
"one or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either: 1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or 2) You have blocked a p0iblisher of one of the controls. As a result, the page might not display correctly"
plus my library is BLANK (I can access library via IMPORT, but not via the top right hand LIBRARY button. It does pop up but is completely blank).
Any suggestions how to cure?
Many thanks in anticipation.
Chris

i would suggest you change to the old library format. look in the edit/preference sub-menu and check the use old library option. the new library format has a search option for the library and/or the content paradise website that is really not useful if you don't download alot from them. the old format still has all the content and is less prone to problems.

It WORKS!!
Thanks a lot for that, Jonbo. That's more than good enough. If anyone ever dicovers a cure for the new library problem, by all means let me know.
Only just got the software and working through video tutorials, Quick Start and full Manual. Quite a learning curve indeed! But looks like an awesome program!! This is going to be great fun!!

ur welcome. active x , from what i understand, is an add-on manager. so the problem is in your browser settings. sorry i don't know which ones need to be changed because i use google chrome. i still get random crashes from time to time when i open the new library but it's rare. maybe someone else here knows what you need to change to get it to work. yes, anime studio is alot of fun and the learning curve isn't too steep compared to some programs. reading the manual and doing the tutorials will go a long way in helping you get the basics down. have fun.
