Hey everyone!
I'm brand new here, and I just wanted to make a quick post showing some of the stuff I've done in Photoshop and Anime Studio.

Very good pieces. I used to collect comic books, so I felt an affinity with The Victim's Movie.

Learning animation will take time, but for someone so young, you have good storytelling sense. Keep it up.

In every video I make I do try to incorporate a good story, or a message in it. I find that if someone has a good meaning, too, it can take the animation anywhere.

And on another note, I applied for the YouTube partner program, because I feel that with promotion, and getting my videos out to the world, they can go far. They said that my application looked promising, but I need at least 20,000 views. I want to apply again in 2 months, but I need the 20,000. Any suggestions on how I can reach my goal?

Read YouTube's policy carefully. Another AS user KartoonManagement, who has a lots of views and subscribers with his series Jay's Life, has had diffculty getting into partners program due to music copyright and maybe other issues.

That said, you don't need the partners program to get your videos out to the world. (Unless you also want to monetize your channel.) I suggest that you defer the idea that with enough promotion you can get a large audience. Just concentrate on making the best and as many videos you can.

That is true. I always try my hardest to produce some quality videos. You're right, though. My focus now is just making movies. Thats definitely what I want to do for the rest of my life.
Being a newcomer, I still have a lot to learn, and I'm experimenting with Maya, Poser, and 3Dmax so I have a line up of different opportunities.

I'm very careful choosing music. I usually use Incompetech.com, which is royalty free with Kevin MacLeod, or I compose it myself.
For The Tale of Boesch and Toe-Toe, which is my latest short, my friend and I have been working closely to compose a score that matches the feel of the animation pretty well.

Thanks. I try to keep a strong spotlight on a certain style to get the point across. Having strong characters and themes makes a strong short in my opinion.... well... with the story. Ha.
