Re: Can the Transform Points bounding box be aligned to the deformed object?
Wow  thank you all so much for the warm and detailed replies! Sorry for the slow response — it’s been a few busy days. Maestral, thank you for reminding me that different software has different logic. I really did overlook layer transformations; I’ve always treated them as something only for ...

Can the Transform Points bounding box be aligned to the deformed object?
Hi everyone, Is there a way to make the bounding box of the Transform Points tool align with the object being deformed, instead of always staying aligned to the screen? When I’m working with mesh, I often need the bounding box to match the mesh orientation, not the screen orientation. I searched all...

How do I keep the IK elbow under control?
Hi everyone! I’ve been running into a recurring issue while animating and I’d love to hear your suggestions or tips. :D After setting up the arm with an IK controller, the elbow sometimes starts flipping or drifting on its own. Even though both the keys before and after have the elbow pointing outwa...

Re: How to Sync Rope Movement with Characters’ Hands in a Tug-of-War Animation ?
I think you have to adjust one of the two hands manually, since the 2 characters were rigged independently. But others may have different suggestions. It all depends on your scene. If it's a short rope like in your sketch, I'd include it in one character's rig, animate the tug, then animate the oth...

Re: How to Sync Rope Movement with Characters’ Hands in a Tug-of-War Animation ?
Just from the cuff of my sleeve I'd duplicate the characters, make all their assets invisible (or delete) so only the animated rig remains, add bones to the front hand and rope artwork, and a target bone for the other character's hand. Thanks for your reply, slowtiger :D Just to confirm, do you mea...

How to Sync Rope Movement with Characters’ Hands in a Tug-of-War Animation ?
Hello everyone :D I’m animating a tug-of-war scene with two characters. Each character is in their own bone layer and fully bound to their rigs. The rope is a separate layer (not part of either bone layer). What’s the best way to make the rope move in sync with the characters’ hands , so that when t...

How to re-sync a Reference Layer’s bones to the Original without losing layer-level settings?
Hello everyone :D I’m animating a scene where two characters are hugging. To manage foreground/background occlusion, I created a Reference Layer from a fully rigged Original Layer (e.g., Character A’s hand in front of B, while A’s head goes behind B). Their motion needs to remain perfectly synchroni...

Re: How to Keep Reference Layer Style Different from Original Without Breaking Sync?
I also tried using a different image hosting platform. Hopefully, this fixes the issue with the image not displaying properly. https://i.postimg.cc/5XDpBNB7/2025-06-14-10-56-39.png https://i.postimg.cc/8sby2GGc/2025-06-14-10-34-57.png https://i.postimg.cc/8jKZCbjV/2025-06-14-10-37-49.png http...

Re: How to Keep Reference Layer Style Different from Original Without Breaking Sync?
I'm surprised that you're not able to see the image, because it appears to be displaying normally on my end. Maybe I inserted it the wrong way? Thank you again for your prompt reply. However, the part about changing the style seems a bit different from what you showed. Please allow me to explain it ...

Hallo Greenlaw <3 Thank you so much for your prompt and detailed response. How to Keep Reference Layer Style Different from Original Without Breaking Sync?
Hi everyone, I have a question about reference layers and styles. I'm trying to make a reference layer use a different style than the original layer. At first, it works — I can change the style just fine. But after a while, the reference layer's style resets and becomes the same as the original agai...

Hi, If you load the original script and the mod into Notepad++ and run Compare, the added line appears at around line 99. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/gyml8lt85o7afjm3j4mxq/2025-05-24_085311.png?rlkey=w5vffk433bk719e3kfh85i0a7&raw=1 As mentioned earlier, you should not change the script in th...
