You can be on Transform Point tool, and can still select points by just holding control. However, you need to switch to Add Point tool or using shortcut (A) to add a point. I don't understand why independent angle in Bone Constrain is not animatable.

I have requested a new feature for the animation keyframe or animation for independent angle for long time; As I remember, maybe before the a few last updated version. I think Independent Angle should be animated, and I hope the developer team is working on it for the next updates too.

That character has been moved on the sequencer. You can tell because the green arrow on the timeline is not starting at frame one, like default. Try moving the layer's start frame back to frame one. Wow! Not sure how i shifted it in the sequencer but yes, this was the problem.. Thanks a lot for you...

I use smooth join binding all the time for my PSD characters. Specifically with arms and leg. The problem is that this binding method only works with two bones.
