Oh, yeah. I've used that multiple times now.synthsin75 wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2026 6:00 pm If you haven't already tried it, you might use the menu Bone>Reset All Bone Rigging and try again.

Re: Need Help with Rigging
This is maddening. Okay, so I made a copy of the file, deleted all the bones and started over. Head, good. Body, good. Right arm, good. Left arm, nope. I repeat the exact same steps on the left arm as on the right arm. On the right arm, when I move the bones, the arm artwork moves to match, like you...

Re: Need Help with Rigging
Thanks. I've tried the video tutorials and the text tutorial and, after I don't know how many hours, I'm not getting anywhere. For one example, the "Create Smooth Joint for Bone Pair" is always grayed out no matter what. Other tools don't seem to behave the way they do in the tutorials. It...

Re: Need Help with Rigging
Have you worked through the tutorials included with Moho? Isn't that this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKG_Ag2Zd7Y I've watched it three or four times now, not counting however many times I've rewatched a particular section to try to figure it out. And I seem to go from bad to worse the mor...

Need Help with Rigging
Is there a dummies guide to rigging? Specifically, binding. I'm trying to follow the "Learning Moho from Beginner to Expert" video series and I'm watching Part 6/38 for basic rigging and I seem to go from bad to worse. For example, if I move the upper left arm, the body contorts with it. (...

Re: IPad/tablet Moho Character Creator
I would second this. I am considering getting a new iPad and it would be nice to be able to use it for drawing/creating characters. Being able to do bones would be nice as well. It doesn't need to be able to do any animating. Just something that would let me draw the characters, vector of course, an...

Re: Can AI create a Moho character?
FWIW, Corel has a product called Vector FX which uses AI to create vector images that can be exported to SVG. That would save the step of trying to vectorize the bitmap image that most AI image generators produce. Can't say how well it works as it is Windows-only and I use Macs. But, when you consid...

Re: Using Fonts in Moho 14 - SOLVED
Tried on a different Mac that has Moho 14.0 installed... I'm on a Mac. I installed a Google font, then turned Moho off and on and there it was in the list of fonts (must re-start Moho for Moho to see it). What I did: Downloaded a font to Downloads folder. Opened the ZIP to produce a folder containi...

Re: Using Fonts in Moho 14
Tried on a different Mac that has Moho 14.0 installed. No go on it either. Couldn't even get any style of Montserrat to show up in Moho.

Re: Using Fonts in Moho 14
Also tried updating to the current version of Typeface and that made no difference either. As another example, Poppins is not installed in my system. It is activated in Typeface. Poppins Regular, Medium and Semibold show up in Moho. Poppins Bold, ExtraBold and Black do not. All of those are activate...

Re: Using Fonts in Moho 14
Here's the only Mac-specific advice I've seen: https://www.lostmarble.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=187355#p187355 Thanks. I've been through that thread (and all the others I could find) to no avail. Doesn't make sense. Montserrat Regular and Montserrat Medium show up and they are at the same level as ...

Re: Using Fonts in Moho 14
I tried updating to Moho 14.3 to see if it made a difference and it didn't. Only a small number of system fonts actually show in Moho and very few of the fonts activated via Typeface show up. I can find no way of getting Montserrat Bold to show up. Normally, I'd see if I could get away with using a ...

Using Fonts in Moho 14 (Mac) - SOLVED
Hello, At the risk of asking a stupid question, how do I (or can I?) get Moho to recognize fonts? I'm using Moho 14.2 on a Mac running Sequoia (macOS 15) and using the Typeface app for font management. The font I want to use, Montserrat, is OpenType, so it should be compatible with Moho. I have the ...

Re: New User Questions - Vanishing Curves and Jerky Animation
Welcome aboard! Thanks! I think what you're seeing is a preview artifact, and it shouldn't affect the actual render quality. Try Ctrl-R to test the actual line quality. That made no difference. But, what it turned out to be was a brush setting. The selected brush appears to be a smooth line, but in...
