Promo for my Comics and Games Shop

This is a promo I made for my Comics and Games shop. It isn't my best work, but it's complete. :D

Tip of the hat to Jeff Holland (Poptoogi) as my wizard character is originally based on his framework (with many modifications.)

Produced in Moho Pro 13.5

Re: Upgrades broken on the moho site

Just posting to say that apparently there was some issue on the site which prevented my license code from processing correctly.

Victor and the team at LM resolved it and I have my updated license active. :D

Re: Upgrades broken on the moho site

Does anyone have any ability to relay this to the Moho folks?

Thanks.

Upgrades broken on the moho site

Ever since the Black Friday sale the moho site's calculation of the cost for upgrades has been broken. Instead of $149 as listed, it just applies a $90 coupon resulting in a cost of $309. I'm pretty sure this is not the intention. I've submitted this directly to the Moho "Contact us" form,...

Upgrade pricing for Pro is not calculating correctly

Upgrade pricing for Pro is not calculating correctly on the Lost Marble Web store.

I submitted this a couple of weeks ago to the web support form, but the issue remains.

It is calculating upgrades from 12.5 pro as costing $309. instead of $149.

Re: Multiple Timelines in a project

Some people have used a master switch group layer (with sub-groups) as a scene switcher. You can also set [View] > [Active Switch Layer Only] for greater visibility distinction. I've done that a bit. It makes for an extremely dense layers panel, and a difficult to maintain project (at least for me....

Interesting. I considered using actions but felt that there were probably some limitations I hadn't thought of. I'll probably give that a try.

Multiple Timelines in a project

I think it would be awesome if Moho could save and load multiple timelines in a project. That way you could try animation variations, or create a series of animations which had the same assets.

Re: Internal Lip Sync, Papagayo, or manual?

Thanks for that.

I haven't "finalized" style on my latest projects... just making and publishing... and then refining for the next one.

Presently, they look like what I posted here:

Lug and Kilgore

This is our new series designed as shorts for Youtube and TikTok. As we are a comics and games shop, we're speaking mostly to that audience. As shorts, I've designed them to be produced in one day. This is the 3rd in the series, and I'm trying to improve things with each new episode. Enjoy! :D lmcDG...

Internal Lip Sync, Papagayo, or manual?

I've been using Moho since v5 and usually do my lip sync manually. I'm currently still on Moho Pro 12.5 but I see that 13.5 Pro touts improved automated lip sync. So, what's the deal – is the internal lip sync functionality that much improved, or are people relying on Papagayo... or just doing it ma...

Re: Patch layer not moving with joint

By default, I think the Patch layer tries to use the binding method used by its target layer, but I prefer to manually bind the Patch layer to the bone I want it to use. If you're not already doing that, try using the Bind Layer tool to bind the Patch layer to the bone you want it to follow. The re...

Patch layer not moving with joint

Using Moho 12.5x

I've added a patch layer to a joint, and it renders properly but doesn't move with the joint during bone manipulation.

Originally it was in a sub-group, but even if I put all the layers directly beneath the bone layer the issue persists.

What am I missing?

Re: 12.5 -> 13.5 ?

Big thanks for the replies. Yes, unfortunately the upgrade would not be free, so that does influence my decision a bit. Wind and Vitruvian bones... I'm sure I'd use them both, but I can't say I miss them right now, because I've never had them. Same for the mesh warping stuff really. They sound like ...

12.5 -> 13.5 ?

I've been using Moho since v5, and pretty much all through the Anime Studio years. I paused updating at 12.5.x (pro) because I was pretty happy with it, and it is so stable. My little shop has 3 pro licenses which we use on Macs. I know that Lost Marble has "corrected" issues from v13 when...
