Re: Linux support...

A support executive pointed out to me a post on WineHQ where Moho 12 was able to function on Linux by installing Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2013 via Winetricks. I've been trying it for Moho 13.5, and still having trouble, although I may be doing it wrong. If anyone else wants to test it, let me know.

Re: Linux support...

Sorry to butt in, but I've been attempting to use Moho (version 13.5) in Linux as well (Linux Mint to be exact). I've tried installing it with both Lutris and Bottles and surprisingly, both of them install correctly and the demo is always fully functional. However, when I input my serial number, it ...

Activation Limits for Serial Number?

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I wanted to check. Is there a limit to how many times you can use the Serial Number to activate Moho? I recently switched to a new OS, Linux Mint. However, I was able to install and use the demo of Moho 13 perfectly fine with Lutris and Bottle...

Easy Access Eye Bones?

I'm sure this is a noob question, so please forgive me. I've been trying to find a way to make it easier to move the pupils of my characters, as I normally I have to open the main character bone layer and navigate to the Eye Layers, as I have to put the bone layers for them in there as it wouldn't b...

How to divide a low detail leg?

I apologize if the experts have already dealt with this question. I've recently attempted to rig a character who possesses a leg that is rather difficult to divide into shin/thigh and such as it does not feature any clear joints. Does anyone have a method for rigging something like this? I have an e...

How to get a lower layer to overlap and upper one

I'm sure there are many tutorials for this topic available on youtube or here. I must not know the right terminology as I haven't been able to find them. Basically, I want to know how to get an arm that is normally concealed by the torso, head and other arm in a way that allows it to overlap one of ...

Re: Character reaching into clothing (Masking?)

Depends a bit on how you have the character structured, but generally you do it like this. Bone layer - masking set to reveal all - arm/hand layer to reach into pocket - masking set to mask this layer - pocket vector - masking set to subtract from mask - onesie (and all other layers) - masking set ...

Character reaching into clothing (Masking?)

For an animation I've been working on, there is a sequence where a character reaches into their onesie (it's a toddler) and pulls out an object (nothing phallic, don't worry). I've been struggling to try and find a way to do this. I attempted to use a mask, but it would require me to create a circul...

Animating Clothes (not sheets)

Forgive me for asking, but I was curious on this topic.

I wanted to know how to animate something such as a character taking off their shirt or something similar. I'm guessing the only way to accomplish this is to animate the clothing frame by frame in a switch group. Any other tips?

Re: Mouth Switch Error

I attempted to raise the audio in Moho using the Audio File's option menu, but the switch remains the same, even when the waves are increased. I tried the first method as well and it didn't work.

Mouth Switch Error

I am trying to make an animation that uses a voice clip I made. I used a voice changer to give my voice a more cartoonish effect, but this seems to have had an effect Moho's Voice Recognition ability, as when I assigned the Mouth Layers to switch to the voice, it only does so after every 30 frames. ...

I moved the "Closed" layer to the bottom and now it's working. Thanks for the advice.

Re: How to turn off Auto-Sync

I already selected the option that syncs the Mouth with the audio. I just don't know why it's ignoring the "closed mouth" vector.

How to turn off Auto-Sync

Okay, so in the latest version of Moho I have, they seem to have implemented a form of Phrase recognition, similar to the one papagyo (or whatever it's called) used. As such, the software has "assigned" the layers inside the mouth switch to certain sounds. Normally, I'd be okay with this. ...
