Re: Cartoon Animator 4 (CT4)
The way I see it, Moho is an application for animators, whereas Cartoon Animator is an application for animation. I can see that, but the sad thing for me is that CA4 could be a program for animators too, if the developers choose to take it in that direction. So far, they seem strictly focused on t...

Re: Cartoon Animator 4 (CT4)
The way I see it, Moho is an application for animators, whereas Cartoon Animator is an application for animation. The difference being Moho offers many more professional benefits for animators, from designing/drawing custom characters, custom rigging, effects, etc... Cartoon Animator is built for pe...

Re: Puffin Rock maker commits to Moho!
I love Moho, and have ever since it was first known as Moho. It's features and capabilities are absolutely awesome, and produce some stunning results. But Moho looks like an amatuer's tool. It has got to be one of the worst UI's, in it's design and evolution. It looks like a product from 80's... If ...

Re: A question about importing layered photoshop files
Thank you... I was a bit worried about imported layered images with lots of switch layers for mouths, hands, etc... This alleviates some of the worry I had.

A question about importing layered photoshop files
I'm at work, otherwise I'd probably just give this a try myself... but when importing a layered photoshop file, and have a series of layers for hand positions, to be switch layers, am I correct in assuming even these hand layers are the same size/dimensions as the overall image itself? Or upon impor...

Re: Can Moho 12 export animations w transparent BG
Typically exporting to a PNG image sequence would allow for a transparent background too... Then import the image sequence into a video editor as a clip...

Re: Installing the "Charles Kenway Retro Space Content Pack"
Sorry, got caught up in something and haven't been back to see if there was any help. I did as the instructions stated, and copied them to my custom content folder. But the instructions also say to copy each individual directory to the same name directory in the content folder, many of which did not...

Re: Installing the "Charles Kenway Retro Space Content Pack"
Unfortunately, these instructions just do not work. I opened the directory as instructed, copied the contents of the folders in the Retro ZIP to this custom content folder (other than Characters, none of the actual folders in the ZIP existed in the custom content folder). I re-opened Moho, opened th...

Installing the "Charles Kenway Retro Space Content Pack"
So according to the directions, in order to install this, it says in the instructions "2. To install these items, first open your user content folder: Select "Open Custom Content Folder" from the Moho™ Help menu." There is no such option in the Moho 12 Help Menus... so how do I p...

Re: Moho 12
Firstly, I'm happy to see the Moho name come back... Secondly, the Warp Mesh, while I haven;t seen it firsthand, sounds more like something found in Live 2D... http://www.live2d.com/en/ And if so, I think it's gonna be a lot of fun to mess around with.

...Our characters are usually made up of 6 groups and over 40 layers for each character. If it goes into chibi mode and the characters go simplified because of a certain moment then it takes less layers. Like the very first scene consisted of 4 groups and 15 layers. You have it down to a science. W...

Re: The Nostalgic IceCream Man Talks
Yeah... valid points... I stand corrected. I still think there's been too much emphasis on head turns, and still like the basics. So instead of having a frontal face view ThatsNotAllFolks, I'd like to see a target for his dialog... Perhaps a group of children by the cart.

Re: The Nostalgic IceCream Man Talks
May I ask why? It wouldn't necessarily add anything.slowtiger wrote:Nice one. Would be nice to see his face frontal.
Too many people are caught up with head turns, body turns, fancy-schmancy stuff just for the sake of it. Sometimes it's good to see something basic well done.

Re: New char design for coming Easter :p
The front walk doesn't really match the side walk. In the side walk, when her foot is behind her, there is an obvious bend in the ankle. However, via the front walk it looks like she just slides her foot forward, with no bending at the ankle at all. The front walk is just very stiff in comparison to...
