Re: Medical film
Yeah that's an idea. Although it would ruin a little bit the reveal of Phoenix saving the day after we explain inflammation. Anyway, they're happy, so yeah..

Re: Medical film
Not sure I follow. You mean putting one or several explanatory slides at the beginning? Not sure I want to do that. It would make the film less appealing in my mind.
The target audience are doctors and the people who commissioned it probably know what they're doing so I'll just leave it at that

Re: Medical film
Yeah Scienceprod is me :). The two USAID videos are Moho as well. Seems to crash into the topic without a good "tell 'em what you're gonna tell 'em" lead-in. You should have seen their first script. I actually had them add the first intro sentence/shot. And it still comes in too quick I ag...

Re: Medical film
Thanks! Means a lot.
I learned a lot on this project, especially on using layer comps. My machine held!

Medical film
You may remember a few weeks/months ago I was pretty active here as I was finding my way back to Moho with a client work. Well I finally delivered the video. Here it is: https://vimeo.com/1019585998?ts=0&share=copy pw: spleen It's a rather complex topic, and the target audience is the medical pr...

Re: Animating a bird logo
The logo is not from me. I'm just incorporating it into a video. It's just to give them a cool logo reveal, nothing more. I think the only thing I'll do is spreading the wings and tails from a more vertical/straight pose (and head to the sky), with a little bit of overshoot. The feather structure an...

Animating a bird logo
Here's a client logo, that I want to give a little movement. Perhaps soaring up and extending its wings to finish in that position. I'm about to go and vector trace it. How would yo go about it as well as rigging? Having it on several layers perhaps (one for each wings + abdomen and head)? Or rather...

Re: Proper timeline workflow when adding elements
All components are the same between the two scenes, except perhaps for a couple new actors. So I first tried the one file approach, relying on layer comps to unburden the system. While that worked for the most part, I still had too many slow downs, especially when jumping back and forth from frame 0...

Re: Proper timeline workflow when adding elements
Yeah but then if I need to make a change to one element, I need to do it in both files.. Then again, maybe it'll still be easier

Re: Proper timeline workflow when adding elements
I progressed with that particular scene. It's about 1000 frames long, quite complex with many particle objects. So much so that I have to resort to layer comps to work on different parts and keep Moho running smoothly. However I am now working on a new scene that takes place later in the film, but i...

Re: Where is ProRes 4444 with alpha in Moho Pro 14?
As far as how I see if it exported with alpha, I can tell as it's rendering. I can see some of the computer screen underneath the video I'm rendering. And I also checked by playing the QT after rendering and the background was solid black. That's not how to check if you have transparent background....

Make sure "Do not premultiply.." is ticked off in your export settings.
Also how do you check for transparency on your new mac? Best is to open an editing software and place the clip over a colored background for example.

Re: Add keyframe to selected points?
I'm always afraid to move the point(s) by mistake if I click on it so I much prefer the freeze method

Re: Add keyframe to selected points?
Very helpful. That shortcut wasn't set for me by default for some reason so I made it to be alt+shift+s (for selected).
Thanks!
