Do you think it would work with a more complex vector? Say a body shape with an image texture (clothes/skin/whatever)

Is there a way to fit images in a path?
I'd like to take a vector, lets just say a square, and give it an image as a background that fills the shape. Then I'd like to translate the points and animate between them... but have the image morph/stretch inside of the vector to still fill it.

It is in the draw menu, but there is no shortcut and I'd like to have it in my tools. Is there any way to do either of those things?
