Re: Bus Stop Animation
As I understood Slowtiger's 3rd point the parallax (is that the correct term?) looked odd having the foreground and the background moving differently in this particular instance since the foreground (signs and mailbox) were part of the sidewalk. I agreed with that and made that change. The snow, how...

Re: Head turn with dialog
That was pretty impressive and very expressive! I too would like to see a tutorial on how you did that.

Re: Bus Stop Animation
Ah, thanks Slowtiger, I see what your points are. I did think the miltiplane effect looked a bit odd but I wasn't sure why. The lack of detail on the bus passengers was just me cutting corners. I did think of adding the faces and other tiny details but got lazy :? I'll experiment with the perspectiv...

Bus Stop Animation
Here's a short animation that I put together entirely inspired by Mike Scott's (Mikdog) "Lets Animate" tutorial . It was an incredibly useful tutorial to help me get through some of the workflow blocks I was having with working in AS (so thanks Mikdog!). I also wanted to experiment with si...

Re: Importing Layers and Frames
That option IS available in AS9 and worked like a charm!
Saved me a ton of time.
Again, thanks!

Importing Layers and Frames
Is there a way to move a number of layers AND their corresponding key frames from one .anime file to another?
I've got a sequence that I need to port over to two other files and I'd rather not have to recreate it two other times.

Thanks for setting that up. It's inspiring to see all the work that can be accomplished with AS!

Re: My new cartoon
Agreed with the posters above, very well done. Some pretty nice animation there and a lot of little details which really enhance it. The editing is good too, quick paced which I think sometimes can carry the viewer through the animation. Good job!

Re: Rigging test
I really like the character and your rigging gave it some really good movements. Really liked the expressions and the flying sequence.
Nice work!

Re: Heart / Lung Medical Animation
Thanks all!
I've done some medical illustrations in the past but none were really 'gross' but I've seem some disturbing pictures that I wish I hadn't! Glad I don't have to animate those!

Heart / Lung Medical Animation
Hi all, I've experimented a bit with AS about a year ago and was recently lucky enough to persuade my job to pick it up for our animation projects. This is a sample from a lung & heart cycle that I completed a couple of weeks ago. All was rendered in AS and the blood flow and lung movement was a...

Re: "Let's Animate!" with Mike Scott [TUTORIAL]
Thanks so much for that tutorial, Mike. It was very eye-opening seeing your process. One of the big challenges I'm have with AS is getting a good workflow. It was great seeing how you work and I learned a lot. Time to give it some more practice and go through your process myself.

Having Trouble with the Select Shape Tool
I've been running into a very frustrating issue. After I create a shape using the Create Shape tool I am unable to select it with the Select Shape tool to adjust the styles. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and it's not always the case, but when it does function that way, I can't, for the life of m...
