Re: Rigging a 3D obj in Anime studio
Thanks for the reply. I think that's the deal breaker for me. I really liked the idea of having one application doing the main things I'm working with - 3d models...without having to load up maya. anime studio does a great job bringing in a zbrush sculpture, i got that down to a science... I had pro...

Rigging a 3D obj in Anime studio
I'm able to import some 3D obj's into Anime Studio fine... however, once their in, I am having a hard time rigging them. For example: 3D character loads in and is looking at camera. I put a bone in the sholder, down to elbow, and another in the forearm and a final child in the hand. I set the bone w...

Re: Animate a painting...
Thanks slowtiger, I was able to export png's and layer everything in AS for eye animation. It worked well, while retaining the bitmap quality of the painting. One thing I found odd... as I have adobe flash as part of cloud - i attempted the same thing, as well as with Toon Boom, to compare quality o...

Animate a painting...
Hi guys, I'm a newb when it comes to animation. I'm mostly a 2d painter and 3d model creator. I have a digital painting I made of the founder of Aikido: http://fav.me/d50wpf4 I'd like to import that graphic and be able to animate the eyes and the mouth. I dont want to have a flat color image. I'd pr...

Re: How do I import a OBJ
I re-read your post and realized I could have this full functionality if I downloaded the trial where I input my CC.
thanks Nolan. I was able to import some paintings, etc. so I fee better about it. I still can't get the zbrush obj's to import - but I think it's due to their high poly count.

Re: How do I import a OBJ
Thanks Nolan,
that would probably be the reason then. I really wish they'd let me import a obj though - that's the main thing i'm interested in. I just want to see the workflow from zbrush - decimation master - to anime studio.
Thanks again

How do I import a OBJ
I downloaded the demo of Anime Studio Pro. I mainly want to see how clean it can import obj's I make in Zbrush and 3DS. So I read on how to import it, only the option is grey for me. I click File / Import / and 3D OBJ model is grey. Is there a reason I can't import it? is the 30 day trial not fully ...
