Re: How To IK/FK switching Unnoticeable
Oh, duh! I totally forgot about MR Pose Tool . This is a different tool from what I mentioned earlier, and it's also way more powerful: Mohoscripts Link: MR Pose Tool I have it installed, but I kept putting off trying it out. I think I'll learn how to use it today. (I swear, Eugene makes sooo many u...

Re: How To IK/FK switching Unnoticeable
FYI, I seem to recall someone wrote an all-purpose bone tool that combined the main features. This was a very long time ago, though, and I'm not sure it's still available or whether it works in Moho 14.x, but it might be worth seeking out.

Re: How To IK/FK switching Unnoticeable
Use the Manipulate Bones tool. By default, it works in IK mode, but to rotate only one bone (FK mode), hold Alt. This combo is very useful for quickly animating a character. I wish there was a mode to move the bone's position as well with the tool. It can do that, but only for the root bone in a cha...

Re: Imported character with smart dial got "unatached"
Ah, that sounds about right. Glad you found a solution! Tip: In a Smart Bone Dial, I like to set a keyframe at frame 1 in the Action's timeline to set the interpolation for the Action's default. Usually, this key is Linear, but of course, it depends on the animation. For frame 0, it's usually Smooth...

Best of luck with the musical, Neal! I've enjoyed some of your past music videos, and I will look forward to this one.

Re: Imported character with smart dial got "unatached"
Oh, another thing to check: If you're using a dual direction Smart Bone, and keyframing frame 1 for the Smart Bone, make sure you're not copy/pasting its frame 0 to frame 1. This technique was something I did all the time prior to Moho 14.x because it allowed me to use a different Interpolation Mode...

Re: Imported character with smart dial got "unatached"
You know, now that I think about it, your problem sounds similar to an issue I had been dealing with earlier. Did you copy and paste or otherwise duplicate some bones that are used in the Smart Bone Action? In my case, I kept deleting some keys in the Smart Bone Actions from the duplicated bones, an...

Re: Imported character with smart dial got "unatached"
The smart bone no longer moves the head. When I go into the action and move the play head, the head acts like it's supposed to. Just doesn't work when I get back to the main timeline. This usually means the Smart Bone Dial has been reparented, which can break the dial's rotation values if the new p...

Re: Imported character with smart dial got "unatached"
I'm not sure what happened in your case, but I recommend creating a root bone with everything branching from it. Having a root bone helps preserve the hierarchy. Try this and see if it helps when importing. A common Root bone also makes it easier to move everything without using the Transform Layer ...

Hi Tac, I had a few minutes before dinner, so I threw together this example... https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/203th6ue8rtaj9m7vx7sw/catLegs.gif?rlkey=9xroc4er3v4oi15edrhb6s58p&raw=1 In the above, I used a couple of Smart Bone Actions to sharpen the bend in the knee, ankle, and paw. https://www.d...

Re: Round caps don't display with effects on stroke?
Good catch! To add to the notes, I tried this in Moho 13.5, and it didn't appear to be an issue in there. In Moho 14.3, however, it was a little worse: not only did the end cap not show, but the entire segment also disappeared. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/38bokj4dx7tl19kdi6rwz/Endcap.png?rlkey=fx...

Re: When vector loops/doubles up the fill is empty, how to keep it full?
One more thing: For the cat's knee area, as seen in your first image, I would simplify the drawing (fewer points, as Wes suggested) and probably not use Bezier points. There's no reason this should overlap when the vector art is optimized for this deformation. Smart Bones could help to achieve a spe...

Re: When vector loops/doubles up the fill is empty, how to keep it full?
I was hoping, since she's essentially a silhouette, that there was a way to make the overlap simply stay black without creating extra shapes When a single shape overlap itself, it always cancels out, so your option is to either split it so it can overlap (the shapes can share the same curves,) or t...

Re: When vector loops/doubles up the fill is empty, how to keep it full?
Hi, Coincidentally, this morning, I mentioned a technique for solving shape overlap here... Rigid bones vs. smooth I explain in greater detail in my Moho vector drawing tutorial here... Let's Draw Vector Art In Moho! Part 1 Specifically, the lesson is towards the end of Part 1. Hope this helps.
