FYI, I found the bug. If you open the program from a shortcut in the app folder or desktop all the tools disappear. Yet, when you leave the shortcut in the original folder everything works fine. This is a patently STUPID bug smh but it's working! Thanks again jonbo

You might have to check the resolution of your monitor if its set to a large size some things may be squashed. If the tools are there but are greyed out , it means she's not on frame zero. go to EDIT/ PREFERENCES and un-check the enable drawing tools only on frame zero option to be able to draw any...

Okay, try going to the window menu at the top, where it says FILE/EDIT/DRAW/BONE/ANIMATION/ etc, and click on the window menu. The drop down menu should show the tools has a check mark next to it, click on it to re- dock the tool palette. Tried that again since it's out of beginners mode. Still no ...
