Rotoscoping?
I'm trying to trace over a movie of a human head. I have it all setup, but i can't see the movie under the layer. In the old version of AS i would just lower the opacity, but it doesn't seem to work with version 8.

Smooth swtich layer transition...
I'm working on a full body action shot of man turning around... using switch layers for this. I have about 8 body poses in this switch layer. It works, but i don't like the nappy look. Is there a way to make the turn more smooth using switch layers? Thanks.

Best settings for DvD?
I plan on releasing the cartoon series on DVD in the near future, but first free on Youtube and Vimeo. I wanna make this as simple as possiable. On youtube it's gonna be 1280x720. Would that be the best settings for DVD?
Also, would 25 FPS or 30 FPS be the best choice? Thanks guys.

Re: Adobe Preimere Pro N Anime Studio
Again, read youtube's own help page about this. Vimeo usually should look much better. I spent all day on this stuff. ALL DAY. My problem was the highly stylzed background. It was making the overall render look bad. So i replaced the background with something more simple and it looks sharper. I gue...

After i save my Anime Studio short as a Quicktime File, 25 FPS, 1280x720... I then bring it into Adobe Preimere and save it as a H.264, HDTV 720, 25...

If its for tv/film then a QuickTime uncompressed at correct aspect is best, yes. For YouTube/Vimeo follow their compression guidelines. But you should really move the decimal point in the 25.00 fee to 2500. This is a more realist price for 3 mins even for a graduate starting out. About 150 dollars f...
