Just to be clear, you're trying to read that mov file in moho running on windows now? Does the mov file play correctly on that windows box? OK In the win ver I have been able to import the AVI file. So, as you said, I'll do everything in Linux then I'll swtich on win, I'll import the video and fina...

I'm afraid that avi and mov formats will not work in the linux version of moho. Moho relies on quicktime for movie processing and since Apple has not written a version for linux, moho can't read movie files in the linux version. Ops, I forgot that. I used the linux versiion and no the win version :...

This worked but moho still doesn't read the movie. $ ffmpeg -acodec copy -aspect 4:3 -i estrattoREPORT20051016_I_Fazisti.avi Tabacci_mov.mov ffmpeg version CVS, build 3276800, Copyright (c) 2000-2004 Fabrice Bellard configuration: --build i486-linux-gnu --enable-gpl --enable-pp --enable-zlib --enabl...

I believe since you are on a linux box, you can use "ffmpeg" to convert an avi to mov. To install, try: yum -y install ffmpeg You'll have to experiment around with the arguments, but the basic form is: ffmpeg file.avi file.mov jorgy It seems to lack of the quicktime codec $ ffmpeg -i estr...

Ok I will act in that way but how do I convert from AVI to MOV?

Yes, I use the linux version. Eventually I can switch to win as my laptop has dual boot if needed to convert the video but sunday afternoon I tryed 6/7 applications to convert from DivX to mpeg and all leave a watermark in rhe middle of the uotput file (I'm quite bothered to spend 30$ for a software...

...import a video? I tried with AVI,MPEG but they're unredab

Hi all In a short (5 min) movie I'm doing I want to import a file that was originally in a huge DivX; from that I extracted an AVI portion, but, since moho was unable to read it, I converted the file in MPEG but it was useless because moho can't read this, too. I thought the file formats chosen woul...

It wasn't necessary to do it in chunks: when moho arrived to <export_name>9999.jpg created <export_name>10000.jpg . The only thing needed was to rename from 0000 to 9999 in 00000 09999 because otherwise <export_name>10000.jpg comes before of <export_name>2000.jpg . I searched a program to do massive...

More than 9999 frames

Moho exports jpgs as <project><frame_number>.jpg

<frame_number> has only 4 digits hence 9999 is the max number of frames allowed.

I have more than 30000 frames so I need 5 digits.

How do I say moho of my desire instead of the default 4 digit?

Thanks

here are some free programs out there... check the "other software" forum. I'll do that. However you may be able to skip this part and render as QT or AVI directly from Moho Maybe in linux I don't have such opportunities. (iìll look the free software or I'll download the win ver that I'll...

Application to finalize the animation

I'm a beginner so forgive me if something is trivial.

When an animation is finished you will find in a folder a bunch jpeg's and a wav so I wondering with which program one can assemble the pictures and audio in something readable from a media-player.

Thanks

OK I did the image change, thanks.

I might be happy [if fading is too hard, no problem] but to do it very well I'd like an image changement less abrut, maybe with a fading on the tail and on the head of the next.

How can I achive it?

Thanks

Control image layers

This is a very simple issue. I want to show image A from frame 1 to 10 and image B from 11 to 30. I can create two image layers with A and B, but I don't have control on when to show and when to hide a layer. I've looked several tutorials but such a simple question doesn't find an answer. Thanks.
