So if i understand you correctly, i need to have one soundtrack with both characters audio on as the selected soundtrack? And then for each switch layer for each character, i need to choose the characters own dialogue with the other characters dialogue silent?

Switch Layers for 2 different characters

I'm trying a animation with someone asking something and someone responding , i've got the first switch layer and sound sorted, but i can't seem to add a response with my second switch layer. Does anyone know how i can do it?

Soundtrack, Format?

What does the format of music/sound have to be in to add it to an animation? I have searched my mp3 folder, my itunes folder and it says it can't find any audio files, not sure what to save them in to make them visible to add to animation!!

I've done the instructions above to inport a previous layer used in another animation. It comes up in my layer box at the bottom right but it doesn't appear in my animation, how do i get it to show up?

Thank you for your replies, i managed to work it out last night, just had to drag my grass layer to the bottom of my layer list and my legs appeared!!! :oops:

layer ordering?

I've been doing a simple cartoon, i have a layer that has grass and a tree on, and i've added another layer which has my man on it. I'm still drawing him, and i've drawn his legs but they have disappeared behind the grass!! How can i get the legs to stay above the grass??

I've only just got the Anime Studio for christmas, so still learning. I was wondering if there was a way in which i could import part of my animation (a football shirt) to finish it off properly in Art rage and then import it back?
